About CASWI

Care for Social Welfare International (CASWI) is using solar systems to power lights and supply clean water, especially for irrigation, across camps for internally displaced people in Nigeria. Besides providing access to energy, CASWI is also equipping the displaced groups with tools and skills for agriculture, agro-processing and fish farming. As an organization led by women and youth, CASWI prioritises vulnerable women and youth from the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) community in Cross River State, Nigeria.

The annual Ashden Awards boost the work of leading businesses, non-profits and others creating a fair and just transition to a low carbon world. The images I produced will help ASHDEN to promote the outstanding work of this organization and to show how climate innovation is improving lives.
